Planung, Genehmigung und Ausführung des Offshore-Windparks Amrumbank West

Planning, certification and installation of Amrumbank West offshore wind farm.

The offshore wind farm Amrumbank West is located 35 km in the north of Helgoland and 35 km kilometers in the west of the island of Amrum in the exclusive economic zone of Germany. The installation of Amrumbank West is currently ongoing. After more than three years of development and certification, this paper deals with the main topics of planning and certification of the offshore wind farm. Besides the design driving parameters which have been already considered during the conceptual design phase of the 80 monopile substructures in nearly 25 m water depths, specific features of the certification process will be discussed. Furthermore, first milestones of the installation and special technical solutions are presented.
