Abstract:

Based on the stress-strain law of aluminium, the relationship between the flexural-torsional buckling coefficient of the perfect aluminium members under bending and the slenderness ratio is derived. The formula for calculating flexural-torsional buckling of aluminium members with the Perry-Roberson form was simulated according to a large number of numerical parameter studies by Finite Element Methods (FEM), which has been verified by the tests described in detail in this paper.
