Abstract:

Replacement of the viaduct Heidingsfeld.

50 years after its construction the 665 m long viaduct Heidingsfeld will be totally replaced. Hereby the steel composite superstructure from 1964 is constructed again as a steel composite section, which is formed in every roadway by a modern unicellular steel box with external cantilevers and concreted slab. Due to the topographical conditions and the conditions for maintaining a 4+0 traffic the steel construction will be installed by longitudinal launching with spans up to 120 m.
