Hotel Marques de Riscal

From construction of the concrete foundations through to assembly of the 1,800 m² titanium roof skin, PERI Spain provided efficient formwork and scaffold solutions.
A three-dimensional erection plan as well as the modular structure of the PERI UP scaffolding system allowed problem-free assembly work and optimal adjustment to the extraordinary building geometry.
Along with the assembly progress of the roof construction, the PERI UP scaffold grew in size accordingly. Installation of the titanium roof skin took place in reverse order from the top downwards. After completion of each upper section, the height of the scaffolding was immediately reduced for the next working level.
PERI UP scaffold decking provided safe and load-bearing working levels and allowed efficient roof assembly at all heights. The PERI UP Rosett modular scaffolding made optimal adjustment to the complicated geometry of the building possible.
