Notes

The arches are cast in place and post-tensioned. The post tensioning was primarily to control stresses during construction stages, but there is permanent post tensioning to reduce flexure from long-term second order effects.

The stainless steel reinforcing is in the beams and deck only, and was not used in the arches, columns, pier diaphragms, or pile caps.
