Notes

The Nowe Brzesko Bridge was built in 1987. Those crisis times are well reflected in the construction itself, built at the lowest cost possible. The bridge stands on some 30 pillars and is very lengthy - 605 m. The width is just 4 m, which makes it the most narrow bridge on navigable Vistula. Of course it is not possible to put two lanes on that width; hence, there are two spots with 6 m width, designed to for cars to make way for a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction. Traffic is restricted to passenger cars and is very limited - just local cars, as the bridge is not on any, even minor, transit route. At good weather you can see the mountains from here.
