Florida East Coast Railroad goes bankrupt.

1935

Line is damaged in a hurricane and service is abandoned. The State of Florida soon afterwards converts the bridges into highway bridges for US. Route 1.

ca. 1980

The Seven Mile Bridge is closed entirely, some sections are demolished.
