Notes
The bridge was built either by Jacob. E. Berry or his son Jacob H. Berry.
The bridge is believed to have replaced an earlier one built as early as 1796 and washed away in a flood in 1869. The year of construction is estimated to be around 1870. Whether the arches are part of the original design is not clear.
In the 1940s, the State Road 25 which used to pass over the bridge was diverted so that the bridge is still in use, but for lighter local traffic. The abutments have been strengthened with reinforced concrete.
