Images & Image Licensing

To understand the structures presented in Structurae, it is absolutely necessary to illustrate the data pages. More than 180 000 images are already available and we are doing our best to add more every month. Certain images have been provided by professional photographers, but the greater part we receive from helpful amateurs of photography from around the world.
