Abstract: The bridge over the Roize river is a prestressed composite trussed bridge. The deck, with a triangular shaped cross section is made up of a prestressed precast concrete slab, a steel lower flange, steel diagonals, and external prestressed tendons. It has been built span by span with prefabricated modules laid on a scaffolding.
