Abstract:

The main stadium of the Shenzhen universiade sports center is selected as the sample of the required engineering background. Aspects of its health monitoring system include the overall monitoring objective, measurement contents, monitoring instruments election, monitoring points layout, data acquisition and long-distance transmission, safety alarming system and so on. The whole system includes four subsystems, i.e. the sensor system, the data acquisition system, data processing system, the damage diagnosis and alarm system. The construction of main steel structure was finished in October 2010. Some data from the above sensors have been obtained, and the primary data processing and damage diagnosis have been carried out. The primary results indicate that the monitoring system runs well and the structure works well.
