1866	Gustave Eiffel sets up his own workshop using borrowed money at 48 Rue Fouquet in Levallois-Perret.
6 October 1868	Contract with Théophile Seyrig who invests in the company Eiffel et Cie as partner.
30 June 1879	The partnership with Th. Seyrig ends. The company becomes "Compagnie des Etablissements Eiffel".
